Let us know the details and model number of your watch along with any important information about the condition; you can do this via our useful form, or via email. Images really help, too. We’re keen to find out all there is to know about your watch, including the presence of any original packaging, paperwork, and parts, any scratches, dents, or signs of repair, and its service and maintenance history.
Post your watch or organise collection
It couldn’t be more convenient to send your watch to us; you can post it to our secure PO box. Alternatively, we can arrange a visit to your home, office, or a mutually convenient meeting room for a handover. We’re a Kent watch buyer, which means we can easily travel into Greater London, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex, and Essex.
Inspection and final valuation
Once we have your watch, it will be thoroughly inspected by one of our experts. Once we are confident that the watch is in good condition and we are satisfied with the authenticity we will contact you regarding the price the same day.
We make payment
Once agreed we will transfer the money for your watch straight into your bank account.

Although it’s not necessary for the sale to have the original box, papers, or documentation for your watch, it often helps speed up the valuation, verify authenticity, and often results in a higher offer.
- Original box and papers – this proves authenticity, model, and purchase history.
- Service history – evidence that your watch has been properly taken care of, whilst detailing any repairs.
- Certificates – these verify origin and help us confirm serial numbers and model specifications.
If you no longer have the box or papers, don’t worry. We still consider every watch based on other key factors.
Shipping Your Luxury Watch for Valuation
All watches are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery to a secure PO Box for collection, ensuring your timepiece is fully protected while in transit. We strongly recommend that your package be insured for its full value.
If a sale is not completed, Hart Time will cover all shipping costs, giving you complete peace of mind.

Do you accept luxury watches if there is damage?
Yes, we accept damaged luxury watches and adjust the offer based on repair costs.
Do you accept new or nearly new luxury watches?
Although we prefer not to buy nearly new watches due to volatility, we will consider rare or interesting pieces on occasion.
What if I don’t agree with the offer?
No problem — you are under no obligation to sell. Your watch will be returned to you safely, and any shipping costs will be covered by Hart Time.
Do you offer guidance on documentation and servicing?
Yes. We can advise on providing documentation, servicing history, and accessories to maximise your watch’s value.
What if my watch is under warranty?
Please include any warranty cards or documentation. This can enhance the value and ensure the buyer knows the watch is covered for any manufacturer issues.
Can I sell multiple watches at once?
Yes. You can submit multiple watches for valuation, and we can provide separate offers or a combined assessment. Simply email us directly with details of the multiple watches you’d like to sell.
